Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Anne holds certifications in the Laura Norman Method of Reflexology for foot, hand, ear and face, as well as certification through the American Reflexology Certification Board for foot reflexology. Her attunements and training in energy work includes Reiki, Reconnective Healing, and Matrix Energetics. She has also done advanced work with Psych-K.
Anne began ballroom dancing in the fall of 2001. She had always loved watching the dancers waltz in Vienna on New Year’s Eve and determined that one day she would be there too. In the beginning it was just for fun…then it became competitive. For eight years she competed nationally as well as internationally. Training for a competition involves hours of practice per day for weeks at a time. This led to blistered, calloused feet, sore muscles, physical and mental fatigue, as well as anxiety and sleepless nights! Massages helped and so did vodka tonics after the competition! Then she discovered Reflexology. One session changed everything for her. Not only did her feet feel wonderful and refreshed, but her back, hips, knees, neck and shoulders were affected as well. She found herself sleeping better and waking more energized.
The next year was spent studying with Laura Norman, an internationally known and published Reflexologist. Anne also spent a great deal of time researching energy medicine. She had been attuned to Reiki, an ancient healing modality, and had been using it with family and friends. It was not until she had “The Reconnection” that she began to experience the power of universal energy. These frequencies are highly palpable, both to the practitioner as well as client, and quickly became a part of her practice.
